I'm heading to Japan today for a week of business meetings, which include a great deal of creative inspiration. I'm lucky. I haven't spent much time in Asia, as with most travel, I am excited. As I prepare, I find myself reading about the history, culture and richness of Japan. I'm watching "Memoirs of a Geisha" because a friend told me that I will most likely see Geisha in Kyoto and I'm hungry to learn more. Then as I'm looking through a recent issue of Newsweek I see this a new toy out of Japan, Puchi Puchi, from the makers of Tamagotchi. Fake bubble wrap. It wakes me up out of my romantic visions of Japan, and prepares me for the exciting and juxtaposed Japan. Fake bubble wrap, I'm taking orders!!
