I love these biscuits too. They are a Greek version of a French biscuit called "Petit Beurre LU" (the name means "little butter" which is where the "Pti Mper" on the Greek label comes from). The LU in the French name is after the biscuit's inventor Louis Lefèvre-Utile who invented it in 1886 and made it at his factory in Nantes. It's in French, but here's the details (if you don't speak French, just run it through google translate!)
