I was in New York City last week, the first time in many, many years that I was there during the holidays. Getting a chance to see the city, especially Rockefeller Center and 5th avenue decked out in holiday splendor was a treat. Here are a few photos to get you in the mood. Special thing was the super white lights on the trees, they are energy saving LED lights, and really looked liked ice drops frozen on the branches. Magical.
Being in NYC in 1983 for Christmas is one of my favorite childhood memories...we saw the Rockettes' holiday show at Radio City Music Hall! It's gorgeous there in December. -- Gretchen
