I've been back to Costco at least 4 times looking for their frozen Spanakopita, still with no luck. For the time I've spent going there, I could have made it homemade and frozen it many times over! This does not include the shopping I do there, even though they don't
have what I went there looking for. It goes something like this... go in
the superstore, go to the frozen food case to look for the Spanakopita,
check out for $150.00, no Spanakopita. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.
It's not that difficult to make, my mom's recipe is delicious, it just takes time. But so does going to Costco. But I love the idea that someone has made them for me, the little handmade triangles, that I just pull out of my freezer and bake. I've even searched the internet for it, and now have a brand name "Cuisine Adventures". Searching for them yields me nothing. Where are these master chefs selling their Spanakopita now? Help!
Wow, nice post, there are many person searching about that now they will find enough resources by your post.Thank you for sharing to us.Please one more post about that..

I am suprised to see that there are this many people besides me looking for the Cuisine Adventures Spanakopita! I found the Trader Joe one first but I have to agree with everyone else that Cuisine Adventures is better :) I also am going to put in an official complaint with Costco and call VLR to find out where I can buy if not just order :)

I too had luck in late November with Cuisine Adventures Spanakopita at Costco here in the Pacific Northwest. In hindsight, the Trader Joe's are really just ok...
L, I love your idea of putting a suggestion into the suggestion box the next time I'm at Costco. Thanks. Let's give it a try :)

I too have been looking for Spanakopita at Costco with no luck. They have discontinued this product-(are not re-ordering it). I have written a complaint/suggestion to Costco to re-order this product as it is sooo god. If everyone who likes this product took the time to write a suggestion in the suggestion box the next time they visit Costco I bet we could bring it back! That said I am calling VLR food Corp in Canada at 1-800-387-7437 to ask where in Northern California I can buy their spanakopitia.
Traders joe's is OK but not nearly as good as Costco's.

The spanakopita at Trader Joe's is good, and definitely worth a try. If there were Oscars for spanakopita, they are a solid runner-up to Costco's.

I've seen some frozen spanakopita at Trader Joe's but have been hesitant to try them, because I can't imagine they're anywhere nearly as good as homemade ones. But, maybe I'll give them a try now.
